daytona differentiation

True story:

I’ve been hooked on F1 racing since the first season of Netflix’s Drive to Survive doc came out in 2019.

These guys take corners at 100 km/h…

Reach top speeds of as high as 340 km/h…

And pull more g’s than astronauts leaving Earth’s atmosphere.

It’s pretty insane to watch.

As it happens:

The production company behind D2S has also released a NASCAR documentary.

(This is where stock cars race around an oval racetrack for 200-300+ laps.)

Now:

There are plenty of differences between these two types of racing…

Like how fast they go…

The types of cars they drive…

How long the races are…

And how many cars are in each race.

But another big one that stuck out to me watching the newest season of Full Speed is…

NASCAR has a TON more crashes.

You see, because they’re always bunched up on the track together…

If one car taps the wall or loses control, it triggers a chain reaction that can wreck multiple cars.

So an easy way to differentiate the two is…

F1 is high speed racing without all the constant crashes.

Why do I bring this up?

Because this simple exercise is crucial to contextualize your offer in a crowded marketplace.

Your clients and customers don’t just want to know what outcome you can deliver…

They also want to know what they WON’T have to do to get it.

This is one of your biggest differentiators.

And it all hinges on the operative word:

“Without”

For instance:

The way I contextualize Email Storyselling against other solutions is…

- Without wasting hours writing “value” emails that don’t convert
- Without having to worry about “creating goodwill”
- Without annoying anyone or burning out your list
- Without being pushy or salesy

Get the picture?

I hope so.

It’s a conversion element I see many overlooking.

That’s it for today, though.

Happy Friday  🤘

P.S:

If you’re a sucker for sports documentaries like me…

There’s a new one out on Netflix about horse racing called Race For The Crown.

My wife and I binge watched the whole thing over the weekend.

Highly recommend it.

Not only for the incredible racing…

But also for some of the cartoonish characters it features lol

Now brb while I see if there are any local horse races we can go to 😂
