provocation marketing

True story:
I listened to Tim Ferriss interview Rich Barton (founder of TWO billion dollar companies, Expedia and Zillow) on his podcast the other day.
I’d never heard of him before...
But as you can imagine, he's been a hugely successful founder and entrepreneur.
One of the pearls he dropped was something called "provocation marketing.”
This means having products or features that get people talking because they're unusual or buck expectations in a pleasant way.
He cited Zillow's Zestimate feature as an example...
Which gives users real-time estimated home values.
This one feature drove a ton of press features, word-of-mouth, and ultimately, user growth.
So, moral of the story:
Defying expectations is a powerful way to get attention.
Especially in saturated markets like travel or real estate.
And the same thing applies to Tiny Visual Book Funnels.
That’s because they don't rely on professional looking graphics or slickly produced direct-to-camera videos.
Instead...
They use simple hand-drawn sketches and diagrams that look like they were done by a 4th-grader.
This "amateur" vibe not only makes them stand out in the feed...
But also disarms your audience’s sales resistance and makes it easier to grasp your message.
And when more people can grasp your message…
You inevitably make more sales.
So...
If you want to learn how to create your own Tiny Visual Book Funnel that leverages this “provocation marketing” effect to attract pre-sold buyers…
